About 16-thousand faculty at Ontario’s public colleges, including Cambrian, could be on the picket lines later this week.
OPSEU says their members will go on strike at 12:01 am Friday if the College Employer Council doesn’t agree to voluntary binding interest arbitration.
The union says that process involves both parties’ asking a neutral arbitrator to create a compromise from both sides’ proposals.
Faculty, which has been working to rule since December, rejected the council’s final offer last month.
