Hughes: Penny-pinching Tories nearly cost passenger rail service

The New Democrat for Algoma Manitoulin Kapuskasing say Tory penny-pinching nearly cost passenger service at Algoma Central Railway.  Carol Hughes says the rides nearly disappeared because the Harper Conservatives changed how they fund rural passenger service.  The service continued when the feds ponied up more money.  Hughes says in addition to money, what`s also needed is for the Conservatives to stop funding ACR like it`s a rural type service because she says it`s not.
