An Elliot Lake man has been arrested following a break-in at an apartment in the city.
East Algoma OPP Constable Phil Young says last Thursday afternoon police were called to an apartment building on Mississauga Avenue and observed video surveillance recognizing the individual in the tape.
He says officers went to the individual’s apartment building finding them passed out in the common area staircase.
He says the person exhibited signs of drug impairment and was arrested adding break-in tools and a knife was found on them.
A 25-year-old man from Elliot Lake has been charged with break and enter, mischief, four counts of breach and possession of a concealed weapon and possession of break-in tools.
