Science North summer science camps open for registration

As life returns to near normal, registration is now open for summer camps being offered by Science North.

Marketing specialist Erin McWhirter says registration is now open in over 30 communities across Northern Ontario including Sudbury, Espanola, and Little Current.

She says Science North and Dynamic Earth have offered innovative and stimulating summer camps that introduce children to the worlds of science, technology, engineering, and math through demonstrations, games and fun activities.

She says COVID-19 protocols for in-person camps while keeping a close eye on the situation.

Sudbury’s Summer Science Camps are offered at Science North and Dynamic Earth for kids ages 4 to 11 in English and French and will run from July 4 through September 2.

Espanola – August 29 – September 2*

Little Current – August 15 – 19*

McWhirter says prices range from $166 to $280 per week.

Updated information about protocols will be posted to sciencenorth.ca/camps if needed.

Register online 24 hours a day at sciencenorth.ca/camps or call 1-800-461-4898 ext. 222 from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday.

She suggests interested people, visit the website for a complete list of details, including camp descriptions, pricing, and dates of Summer Science Camp programs being held in your community.
