The musical trio from Blind River, Women in Song, has been invited to participate in the Oakville Festivals of Film and Art International Women’s Day Film Series.
The series celebrates women’s stories and achievements while increasing visibility in the film and arts world, with a series of films every Friday in March.
The trio from Blind River will host the final film of the series, Carmen, to close out the event.
Organizers reached out to the women through their accessibility on the Internet and they are all proud to be an event that promotes women and their talents and achievements.
