At its special meeting this week, the Conseil scolaire public du Grand Nord de l’Ontario approved the appointment of Norma Saad as education superintendent for the board.
Board communication director Carol Dube says Saad is currently the principal of a school in Aurora.
Dube adds throughout her career, she has worked as a facilitator, teacher, vice-principal and principal at both the elementary and secondary levels.
She says Saad will be moving to Sudbury to begin her new position on March 21st.
