An Elliot Lake man is over the halfway mark in raising funds for children with disabilities.
Leo Deveau of Elliot Lake started raising funds for Snowarama just last week and he is well over halfway to his goal of $4,000 having raised $2,800 so far.
He says this week he will be approaching Elliot Lake businesses and then spending time at No Frills once again to take donations.
Deveau adds he is looking forward to taking in the Espanola- North Shore Snowarama on Sunday, February 13th with funds going to Easter Seals to help children with disabilities.
