Need medical equipment, the Espanola Elks are here to help

Buying medical equipment can be expensive, and to that end, an Espanola club does what it can with donated equipment to help those in need.

Espanola Elks Exalted Ruler Wendy Ouimette says the club has been providing medical equipment to the wider public for quite a few years as part of it giving back to the community initiative.

She says there is a wide range of equipment available for a small nominal fee ranging from canes to walkers to crutches, commodes to shower seats, wheelchairs and more, adding if anyone wishes to donate, they are welcome to do so.

Ouimette adds volunteer Stella Hunt has come on board to administer the program and the public is encouraged to call her with their medical equipment needs.
