This past Saturday was a busy one for members of Club Richelieu Les Patriotes distributing Christmas baskets to Greater Sudbury and area families.
Club member Paul de la Riva says in all, 131 baskets were delivered to celebrate Christmas including gift cards for the children.
He says the club purchased $25,000 in food to fill the baskets with an additional $10,000 in good being purchased thanks to an anonymous business donation.
De la Riva says the club has been doing up the baskets for over 30 years estimating more than 3,250 hampers have been delivered in that time.
