To heck with stuffing a cruiser, Manitoulin OPP decided to fill their big van, and fill it they did.
OPP Constable Tessa Kasch was at Tanner’s Your Independent Grocers in Espanola yesterday afternoon,
Kasch says she couldn’t believe they had almost filled it after she had only been there an hour and people were not only generous with food items, but cash donations were also part of the food drive. $500 in all.
She says all the money and food items will be delivered to the Espanola Helping Hand Food Bank, adding a big thank you to everyone who supported the initiative.
