Algoma Family Services is closing its doors for the next two weeks and is hoping to reopen by December 20th.
According to the release, in response to the escalating COVID-19 active cases in our communities, the agency will be closing its offices to the public for a two-week period.
The organization says the action is taken to ensure the safety of the children, youth, adults and families that access services in our buildings, and staff.
Virtual services will be provided during this time, as well as in-person services for those most in need.
Do not attend the office for service unless you have a scheduled in-person appointment. If someone requires services during this time they can call their counsellor, the office 705-945-5050, or 1-800-461-2237 and arrangements will be made for a telephone or virtual service.
