Community members, alumni, partners and supporters of Cambrian College showed their true spirit earlier this week with donations totaling $84,300 on Giving Tuesday.
College alumni director Brandi Braithwaite says she is amazed by the generosity of the public more so since the pandemic has caused more challenges for students who struggle to make enough money to live on and go to school.
She adds every dollar raised on Giving Tuesday will directly help Cambrian students in need adding several businesses and individuals provided matching funding to make this year the biggest Giving Tuesday ever.
