Public consultation begins on new Trades and Technology programming

Earlier this month, the Algoma District School Board announced a trades training centre would be constructed to open in 2022.

Board communication director Fran Walsh says now the board’s Trades and Technology Advisory Committee is inviting the public to take an online meeting to learn about the establishment of the committee and the work it will carry out.

She says the mandate of the new committee, consisting of national and local industry experts, will be

to advise, consult and support initiatives that will include renovations and new construction projects.
