Manitoulin OPP assist with Stuff-A-Cruiser

If you see a cruiser filled with yummy food items tomorrow, it is not confiscated goods.

The Manitoulin OPP, United Counsel of Chiefs and Councils of Manitoulin Police Service and Wiikwemkoong Tribal Police are all partnering up for the Stuff-A-Cruiser initiative.

OPP Constable Tessa Kasch says the services will be collecting non-perishable goods today at the Mindemoya Foodland from 2 pm today until 6 pm.

She says the collected items will be distributed to food banks and other agencies across Manitoulin Island to assist those in need over the holiday.

Kasch adds COVID19 protocols apply adding a huge thank you to everyone who helps out with the cause.

She adds the OPP will be in Espanola stuffing yet another cruiser for the local food banks at Tanners YIG on December 16th, also from 2 to 6pm.
