A police situation dealing with a barricaded person on Manitoulin Island has ended peacefully.
Manitoulin OPP Constable Tessa Kasch says the situation ended peacefully in Billings Township with no injuries.
She says officers responded to a domestic dispute shortly after four am Monday morning on Main Street.
She says the police put a shelter safety advisory in place in the vicinity.

Kasch says the identity of the accused will not be released to protect the identity of the alleged victim and the investigation is continuing.
She adds the safety advisory was lifted just before four pm and Main Street was reopened.
