Sudbury police have now charged a 26-year-old Sudbury man with second degree murder in connection with a rooming house death. The accused was first charged with assault causing bodily harm as a result of an altercation with the victim last Thursday. But following an autopsy, police laid the more serious charge. The victim has been identified as 60-year-old Gary Triff. The autopsy shows Triff died as a result of being hurt in the assault.
