Northeast region welcomes 13 new OPP officers

There are 13 new Ontario Provincial Police officers to serve the northeast region.
Regional Commander Chief Carson Pardy says Class 492 graduated last Friday and will now be deployed throughout the region.
Manitoulin OPP and East Algoma OPP will acquire one new officer each while Nipissing West OPP, which services the Sudbury region will acquire four.
Pardy adds the new officers bring a diverse set of skills and experiences to proactive frontline policing and ensure the safety of communities where they serve.
