The Town of Espanola is hosting a ceremony to mark Truth and Reconciliation Day.
The town is hosting a Walk of Reflection at the Espanola Regional Recreation Complex outdoor track.
The walk will be held at 7:00 pm, Thursday, September 30th, and participants are asked to wear orange to honour Canada’s residential school survivors, their families, and communities.
Participants are also invited to bring a candle or tealight or a painted orange rock to place along the track.

Espanola council passed a motion earlier this month voting to accept the day as a statutory day off for all employees.
