A ride in memory of a Manitoulin Island OPP officer who died in the line of duty has expanded.
Algoma-Manitoulin MPP Mike Mantha has created the Thunder Ride from Elliot Lake to Little Current as part of The Marc Hovingh Memorial Island Ride, which takes place tomorrow.
Constable Hovingh was killed in the line of duty on November 19th, 2020, in Gore Bay after responding to a call.
All the funds raised will go to the OPP Youth Foundation.
