Espanola’s A. B. Ellis Public School will be hosting a Terry Fox walk on Wednesday, September 29th.
Teacher and organizer, Edith Presseau says the school has participated in the walk for 38 years raising nearly $420,000 for the Terry Fox Foundation.
Presseau adds the walk will take place throughout the day since different cohorts will take part in the event throughout the day.
She says they will also host a “Toonies for Terry Toss’ on the 25th and 26th.
