Two MPPs will meet with small business owners today to discuss problems they may be having with a provincial grant program.
Jamie West, MPP for Sudbury, and France Gélinas, MPP for Nickel Belt will meet with local area small business owners today at Jak’s Diner.
West says the focus will be the problems, small business owners in our community are having with the Ontario Small Business Support Grant program.
Gélinas adds many small businesses were negatively impacted by COVID-19 restrictions and turned to the program for help, but now face a bureaucratic nightmare and no support.
The two want to bring their findings back to the government when Queen’s Park fall session begins.
