APH advises of potential low-risk exposure at wedding reception

Algoma Public Health has issued an advisory Sunday evening of a low-risk COVID-19 exposure.

According to the release, the exposure is said to have taken place at a wedding reception in Bruce Mines on August 7th.

The agency asks anyone who attended the event at 546 Plummer Road in Bruce Mines to self-monitor, contact the office and get tested.

While the Algoma District had no cases during most of July, there are now four active cases within the region.

Public Health Sudbury & Districts is now reporting 26 active cases, 17 in the Manitoulin District, the rest in Greater Sudbury.
