Popular event returns to Blind River

One of Blind River’s most popular events returns to an in-person format this month.

Blind River’s Timber Village Museum curator Ashley Young says the organization will hold an in-person Teddy Bear Picnic geared to ages one to five years of age on August 19th.

Virtual activities are also held every Tuesday and Thursday with the museum posting activities and videos on its Facebook page, which also includes a free take-home kit for pick up from the museum.

Young adds families can submit their photos of their bears to win a prize or on the Thursday families can also attend the in-person event at the museum from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with COVID-19 protocols in place.

The Museum is asking families to pre-register here to ensure admittance. For more information, please contact the museum at 705.849.3006 or by email at [email protected]. Visit their webpage at: https://www.facebook.com/TVMuseum
