The new National Chief of the Assembly of First Nations has a plan for her first hundred days in office. RoseAnne Archibald will focus on unmarked burial sites at former residential schools, the national action plan on missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls, and vows to fight racism in the health and justice systems.
She also says she will work on a post-pandemic recovery plan for First Nations and will help make the Assembly more transparent and inclusive.
Archibald was elected to the position last week and is the first female National Chief of the Assembly of First Nations
