The City of Elliot Lake will be activating the splash pad today provided some much-needed relief to local families.
According to Public Works, the splash pad, located at the Rio Den Arena will start-up today, which may cause some temporary discolouration in the water supply in the local area.
If this occurs, Public Works is recommending run the cold water until it clears.
Make sure the cold water is clear before attempting to use any hot water during this period as damage may be caused to the hot water tank.
