Soldiers pull out of Washington

The last of 26-thousand soldiers, sent to Washington, D-C, have finally pulled out, almost five months after they were deployed following the January 6th attack on the Capitol Building.

American officials say the threat of right-wing attacks has diminished over the last several weeks.

The National Guard troops were deployed after supporters of former President Donald Trump stormed the building, seeking to overturn the results of the November presidential election.

So far, more than 440 people have been arrested and charged in connection with the attack, and the FBI says their investigation continues.
