École catholique La Renaissance’s principal, Lynn MacLean, was recently awarded a School and Community Leadership award.
CSC Nouvelon Director of Education Paul Henry says the award was announced at the Association of Principals and Vice-Principals of Franco-Ontarian Schools virtual annual conference.
He says MacLean was entrusted in 2017 with the mandate of directing École Saint-Joseph and École secondaire catholique Franco-Ouest in Espanola.
She will see to their merger to become a Kindergarten to Grade 12 school which opens this September.
Henry adds the prize is awarded each year to three people who stand out for their commitment to both the school and community.
