Sables-Spanish Rivers Township is in a good position financially following the release of the draft financial statements for last year.
Auditors Marc Belanger and Roxanne Gervais of Baker-Tilly walked council through the municipality’s financial statements, including assets and liabilities.
The township had just over $5.9-million dollars in net assets.
Tax collection is going well, although the pandemic has had an effect according to township treasurer Ruth Clare.
