The campaign to raise funds for new beds at Elliot Lake’s St. Joseph Hospital has hit a milestone.
Hospital foundation fundraising chairman William Elliott says the campaign has reached the $80,000 mark.
He says the campaign is to raise $324,000 to replace 54 beds.
Elliott adds raising money has not been easy due to pandemic restrictions since many organizations are unable to meet on a regular basis, but he optimistic they will reach their goal adding donations, no matter how big or small, are tax-deductible.
