North Shore corridor communities band together for survey

The Municipality of Huron Shores is taking the lead in finding out exactly how people in five north shore corridor communities feel about safety, especially in light of COVID-19 challenges.

According to a press release, residents in the towns of Spanish, Blind River and Thessalon, the Township of the North Shore and Huron Shores are being asked to take the time for an online survey to express their views, concerns and interests about well-being, and community safety.

The survey is now underway for the North Shore’s Community Safety and Well-Being Plan, which will strengthen how the municipalities collaborate with partner agencies serving residents living in the region and will provide a community of support for the committees already tackling the important issues that that impact safety and well-being across the North Shore.
