Chelmsford students have given back to the community.
As part of International Women’s Day, students from École secondaire catholique Champlain in Chelmsford, who were scheduled to take part in a humanitarian mission in Peru this year, decided to support Plan A Sudbury with its community charitable campaign.
The students wanted to support a community initiative by buying handbags and backpacks which they then filled with various hygiene products for women and small gifts.
These bags were later donated to the Sudbury Women’s Center to support women in need in the Greater Sudbury community last week as part of the International Women’s Day celebrations.
