A 16-year-old has been charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault following a stabbing incident that occurred Thursday night in Elliot Lake.
East Algoma OPP reports officers responded to the corner of Axmith Avenue and Frame Crescent shortly before 10:30 pm.
The victim was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
As a result of the investigation, a 16-year-old was arrested and charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault.

He was denied bail on Friday in Blind River court and remains in police custody.
