A boil water advisory has been issued in Elliot Lake in the Hirshhorn Avenue vicinity.
The advisory was issued for addresses 31 to 50 Hirshhorn Avenue yesterday.
Although this risk is very low, a boil water advisory was issued to ensure public safety following some repairs to the line.
In consultation with the Algoma Public Health, the city put the boil water advisory for any activity where water may be ingested.
This advisory will remain in place until work on the system is complete and microbiological samples confirm the safety of the water.
