A new and improved Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation has launched.
The province unveiled the new programming which aims to increase economic development and job creation across the north.
Four new programs were featured which the province says will help address the skilled labour shortage, facilitate upgrades and repairs to vital community assets like curling clubs or community centres all whole promoting our culture and boosting our economy.
Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli, says the new programs will improve and simplify funding deliveries.
Fedeli adds new and improved supports will ensure that the North thrives and emerges stronger than ever before.
