Given the changing COVID-19 situation in the Central & East Algoma District area, the North Shore Health Network is temporarily suspending all visiting including essential visitors and caregivers.
Spokeswoman Melanie Kubatlija says the temporary move is being made to ensure the health and safety of everyone accessing their medical services in Blind River, Thessalon and Richard’s Landing.
Chiropractor services have also been suspended for the time being.
She adds the public is encouraged to visit the emergency department if in need of urgent care.
