The Réseau ACCESS Network based out of Sudbury has joined Community Food Centres Canada’s Good Food Organizations network, which now has more than 300 members across Canada.
Network program manager Heidi Eisenhauer says the partnership will help organizations to develop shared good food principles and grassroots food programs for people living on low incomes.
Eisenhauer says when an organization joins the larger network, they also add their voice to a broad national movement fighting for action on poverty, considered by many to be the underlying root cause of food insecurity.
