Two people charged with first degree murder

Sudbury OPP has charged two people with first-degree murder.

OPP Constable Michelle Coulombe says back on October 25th officers responded to a sudden death incident where a person was located on a trail in Point Grondine Reserve near Killarney within the Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory.

She says the deceased was identified as 56-year-old Brant Burke of Killarney.

Coulombe says a joint forces investigation was carried out by Wikwemikong Tribal Police and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry assisted by OPP branches.
