Grade seven and eight students at Central Avenue Public School and Esten Park Public School in Elliot Lake will be moving to a junior high school setting.
The Algoma District School Board has approved the move of the Intermediate Division from the two schools to the new Elliot Lake Intermediate Program.
Just over 89 Grade seven and eight students will make the transition in September 2021 to the Adult Education Wing at Elliot Lake Secondary School.
The board is also in the process of finalizing a new off-site location for the North Adolescent and Adult Education Programs.
