A single-vehicle crash has resulted in the death of an Elliot Lake man.
East Algoma OPP Constable Phil Young says police and emergency services were called out to the crash at Hillside Drive South and Highway 108 in Elliot Lake shortly after noon on Saturday.
He says 61-year-old Robert MacCollum of Elliot Lake was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The investigation determined that a single motor vehicle collided with a rock-cut at that intersection.
Young adds the Office of the Chief Coroner and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service are carrying out the investigation.
