Espanola dental office closed temporarily – COVID 19

Due to what is being called a low risk of COVID-19 exposure, an Espanola dental office has been temporarily closed.

The Espanola Dental Centre located in the Espanola Mall stated on its Facebook page the office was closed on November 16th due to a low-risk COVID-19 exposure.

The clinic states Public Health Sudbury & Districts has investigated and all patients and staff who may have been in close contact have been identified and contacted.

The clinic further states it took it upon themselves to close as a precautionary measure and it remains closed as of press time.
Meanwhile, the health unit says there were four new cases this Sunday, three in the Greater Sudbury area, and in the Manitoulin District.
This brings the total confirmed cases in the health unit to 218, of which 10 are considered active.
