Public Health Sudbury & Districts is addressing some concerns about privacy in their latest advisory.
In the release, the agency states they are aware of rumours about cases in the Sudbury area but rely on people trusting them with personal information so they can react quickly and will only release individual data if there is a clear need to do so.
The unit also reports there are six more confirmed COVID-19 cases in Sudbury.
Of those, three are due to close contact, one is outbreak-related and the other two are under investigation.
All six individuals are self-isolating.
This brings the total of cases to 196 within the health unit’s jurisdiction.
