SPORTS – NOJHL season set to begin

Eight teams in the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League are slated to begin regular season play this week.
In all, seven games are on the schedule from Friday through Sunday.
Two local teams, the Espanola Express and Blind River Beavers are slated to play.
The Elliot Lake Wildcats franchise chose to sit out this season.
There is one big change due to covid – the new style of hockey is more driven to puck play and skating because of the no contact.

Saturday, November 14. Espanola Express at French River Rapids, 7:00 p.m.
