An Elliot Lake man is facing several charges following an incident at St. Joseph’s General Hospital in Elliot Lake.
East Algoma OPP Constable Phil Young says back on the morning of October 16th police were called in to investigate a disturbance in the emergency department at the facility.
He says a person had thrown equipment and furniture around causing damage, as well as throwing equipment at a staff member.
Young says a 34-year old man from Elliot Lake is facing three separate charges of mischief, being a common nuisance endangering life and assault.
He adds the accused is to appear in Elliot Lake court on January 5th.
