A well-known Manitoulin Island man will be running for the Liberals in the 2022 election.
Ontario Liberal Party leader, Steven Del Duca says Tim Vine, a dedicated volunteer and executive for the Manitoulin Health Centre, has been nominated as the Liberal candidate for the Algoma-Manitoulin riding.
Del Duca says Vine is currently the Chief Financial Officer and VP of Corporate Support Services at the health centre, standing him in good stead when it comes to health care and community priorities.
He adds Vine is passionate when it comes to helping his community and the association is looking forward to helping him campaign in the riding.
Vine says he is humbled to be nominated and is looking forward to helping rebuild the Ontario Liberal Party.
Vine has an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Huron University College, a Master of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario, and a PhD in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario.
