HSN Children’s Treatment Centre moving to Southridge Mall

Health Science’s North Children’s Treatment Centre and Infant and Child Developmental Services are on the move to the Southridge Mall on Regent Street in Sudbury.

Hospital CEO Dominic Giroux says the centre and services are being moved out of the main hospital site to make room for 52 new bed spaces that were recently funded by the provincial government.

He adds the total capital costs will be released through the tendering process and renovations are expected to be completed with a grand reopening planned for the summer of 2021.

Giroux says the move is possible through an agreement with the Ontario Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services.
