Espanola High School is reviving its Spartan Straight Gay Alliance this month.
Teacher Jayson Stewart says the alliance will officially be launched on October 22nd with special guest, comedian, and activist Derek Forgie.
He adds the alliance is a social and activism club for all students no matter their sexual orientation and all grades are welcome to join.
The club members will meet on a regular basis to talk about issues and take part in various projects to advocate for equal recognition of all students.
