Police in Elliot Lake is asking for the public’s help in recovering a mobility mat taken from one of their local beaches.
East Algoma OPP Constable Phil Young says the mat, described as blue in colour and 16.5′ X 8′ in size is valued at $1,340.
He says the mat was stolen some time from Spruce Beach between September 18th and 25th.
Young explained that the city recently purchased the mobility mats and wheelchairs for the popular spot to allow accessibility for people with mobility issues.
He is asking for anyone with information to call the OPP or Crime Stoppers.
