Espanola Elks Hall in danger of closing

The Espanola Elks may not be celebrating the 70th anniversary of their chapter if they do not get some funding supports from the community.

President Wanda Ouimette says the members are running into problems with a declining enrolment and maintaining the building.

She says they are hosting a membership drive and spaghetti dinner to raise some funding to continue upkeeping the building or they may have to sell it.

Ouimette says anyone interested in becoming a member can call the hall or speak with her directly.
