Add Foodland Ontario to the growing list of groups joining the Pumpkin and Fibre Arts Festival in Espanola. Festival spokeswoman Cheryl Kennelly says Foodland is spending $1,500 on maps that direct people to the various festival events. Right now many groups and residents are growing pumpkins in time for the October festival. About 2,500 pumpkin seeds were sent to the town from giant pumpkin growers in Ontario. This is the third year for the festival which the town hopes to turn into a solid cultural attraction for the community.
