The Manitoulin OPP has charged a Chelmsford man with assault with a weapon after he allegedly threw a water bottle out the window of his van.
According to the release Manitoulin OPP say the bottle hit a passenger in a passing vehicle
The incident took place just east of Nairn Centre on Monday.
The passenger was treated for minor injuries.
Officers were able to find and stop the driver of the van on Highway 144.
The 56-year-old man is to appear in the Espanola court on September 2nd.
